In the past year and a half, China has repeatedly lied to the world saying that the coronavirus did not come from their country and instead, they threw the finger at the United States regarding the origin of the virus. It turned out that China lied and the World Health Organization (WHO) tried to cover China’s tracks. China has also lied and hid to the world about how they do not have Uyghur concentration camps. What else has the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) lied and hid to the world?
Today, I was on Twitter and I found out that China has an extremely strict covid-19 passport policy implemented in a series of tweets (here’s the entire thread). I’m shocked, but at the same time, I’m not. I’m surprised because in New Years eve 2020, people gathered outside in the streets, maskless, celebrating the holiday. So I expected that the CCP ended the pandemic and they moved on from it. I was wrong. Very wrong. In a series of tweets, there are videos of China’s covid-19 passport in effect and how they wantonly crack down on people who refuse to comply. And believe me, they’re way worse than how Australia handles the covid-19 pandemic. But then again, they’re a communist country, so what did people expect?
From the videos that I saw that are coming out of China on Twitter, nothing surprises me since they’re a communist country with communist tactics, but there are a few that I will point out that grotesquely disgusted me the most. In one video, there are kids that are being sent to quarantine camps without their parent’s consent. In another video, anyone trying to leave China to escape to Myanmar or Vietnam would be sent to quarantine camps. Barbed wires are set up around the borders of China so that no would be able to leave the country. In another video, people are being forced to get tested, and they are held against their will by police if they don’t comply. In another video, police officers chained their citizens and forced them to parade in the streets as a way to be public-shamed for not wearing a mask. This public shaming is very similar to Animal Farm because in the book, anyone that spoke out or even protested against Napoleon’s rules and policies, they would first confess their crimes to the public. Then, they would be executed in the end for being dissidents of the state. In a communist country, dissident is never allowed. Anyone that speaks out against a communist government would face severe consequences, ranging from public shaming, thrown into jail, or even death. And none of this stuff, coming out of China, ever gets reported on a large scale. It’s hidden from the rest of the world.
China being a communist country, they will only show the world the positive side and the tourist parts (Shanghai, the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, etc.), but they will never show real life in China and they will always deny any wanton activity that they do to their citizens. And no one on mainstream media has the guts to expose China’s vicious evil-doing on a worldwide level.
